Meet Rob Halstead

16th Oct 2015

Rob Halstead is the Head of Business Development and has been part of the CUB UK team since early 2010. Responsible for the progression of CUB UK, Rob talks about what it’s like to be part of a company which prioritises its customers:

“I joined CUB UK because I immediately saw them as being acompany who care about what they represent as a business and put their customers first. Our business is built on trust and long-term relationships with our customers, so developing CUB UK as a business is a vital role.

I love working for a family business as it’s much more satisfying getting results for people that appreciate your efforts. I always feel like my input is valued and as a team, we can develop the business in the best ways.

My main priority is development of the business, which can range from training and development of staff to research and development of new products and services. The most important part of my role is ensuring that we provide a first rate customer experience and we are always striving to be even better.

I don’t have a typical day as my role constantly varies. Advising on solutions to problems is something I do a lot as well as identifying errors which, although not detrimental to the business, need to be put right. In an ever changing industry, you cannot stop still for long and there is always more we can do to improve our service.

My team are fantastic and it is rewarding to see how my knowledge and experience has a positive effect on the company. We want to be the ethical consultant of choice for our customers and the best way to build this is through excellent customer care.

In the future, I hope to see CUB UK continue to be an enjoyable place to work and I am looking forward to evolving our products and services to ensure that we always provide our customers with the very highest levels of value and continue to create long lasting relationships.”
