Louis Fairfax named as Top 30 under 30
Louis Fairfax has recently been named as one of the Top 30 Under 30 in an innovative new campaign.
Quarterly business intelligence title, iQ magazine, launched its campaign in 2015 with the purpose of identifying and celebrating the up and coming individuals across the whole of Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
As the third generation family owner, Louis, 29, was nominated by a member of his team and is delighted to be part of this initiative. “Being named as one of the Top 30 Under 30 for business in the region by a leading title is a real honour. It’s a huge recognition for the love and commitment I have for the work we do and is an achievement I shared with my incredible team,” Louis explains.
“This is a wonderful way to start our year and as we’ve also just achieved our ISO accreditated, it’s only just beginning,” he said.

Louis joined the business at the age of 19, having started his working life as a team leader in a retail environment. Growing up alongside the business gave Louis a unique understanding of the family business and its place in the industry.
Since joining the board Louis has introduced a unique tiered package system for energy procurement, achieved an ISO 9001 standard, increased customer retention to 98.5% and has grown the client portfolio by 55%. He is also a dedicated family man, and is an accomplished sportsman, competing in obstacle races as well as representing March athletic club.
