Introduction of the BrokerQuote system
Gazprom Energy: Introduction of the BrokerQuote system, simplifying energy quotes for SMEs.
Gazprom have introduced a new quoting system for energy brokers and consultancies to make pricing faster and easier for SME customers.
Mark Eccles, UK Regional Director at Gazprom Energy said: “We developed the BrokerQuote system in response to feedback that highlighted that brokers need greater flexibility and speed when generating customer contracts.”
The new system BrokerQuote is an online quotation system giving brokers and consultancies access to live markets, specifically designed to help simplify and speed up the time it takes to generate energy quotes for small to medium enterprises. There are roughly 70 brokers and consultancies exclusively using the system, with Gazprom looking to roll it out to more than 200 in the next few months.
CUB UK have introduced the system to their business to better manage energy quotes and speed up the process so that clients can get prices within a shorter time frame, which would take longer when ringing up for prices.
This new innovative self-service system, which is free to approved brokers who adhere to the Gazprom guidelines and follow best practice, will allow them to make their own customer contracts.
The process will be easy, only requiring the clients business name and registration number; site meter point reference number (MPR number) or postcode if you have a brand new meter which isn’t on the system; the supply point address, customer contact details and annual site consumption.
With this new innovation from suppliers being the way forward for speeding up the pricing process, it would be good to see other suppliers adopt it for the convenience of brokers, consultancies and customers.
